The Municipality of Gradiska has a very rich educational and cultural tradition that dates back to the second half of the 18th century. In the territory of the Municipality there work seven central elementary schools that include 31 branch schools of which three are eight-grade and 28 four-grade schools. Within the system of well-organized and well-developed network of schools, the elementary education covers 5,300 pupils. In Gradiska there operates the School for Special Education and Upbringing, School for Basic Musical Education, and "Lepa Radic" Preschool Institution.

There are three secondary schools in the town: High School, Secondary Vocational and Technical School, and Mechanical Engineering and Wood Processing School. Those schools are attended by 2,100 pupils.

Further to the decision of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Srpska, a Department of Higher Business Scholl from Prijedor has also been opened in Gradiska.
